Kayo's Misc & Etc

What is my blog about? A bit of this and a bit of that. I guess you could say my postings are the Memoirs of an Amateur. I was born and raised in Chicago. My husband and I now live in Frederick County VA, near Winchester. We have had lots critters over the years. Some were ours. Some were visitors. I want to write about the animals, past and present, from time to time. Perhaps someone else can enjoy the animals vicariously. Look for future Tales from the Farm; City Girl Gone Wild.

Too much of a good thing!?!

I have lots of supplies. I have supplies for several different crafts. Each craft has its own set of supplies & tools. Some of the supplies & tools, however, crossover. In other words, some of the supplies & tools are used in more than one craft. HOW does one organize supplies & tools in that situation? I guess I'll need to visit some blogs of crafters and put the question to them & their followers.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog. It's new-ish and ever changing. Since I've never done this before, I'm playing with the elements so I don't know what to expect. Check back from time to time. You may find something of interest.

Update: although the blog is no longer new, I've been away from it for a while so it's still very young. I moved to Virginia in December of 2015. (At the moment I can't find a way to update the header info that mentions Chicago!) We still have lots of critters around so the focus of my blog hasn't really changed much, if at all. I also started a genealogy blog in July of 2016. I'll include some, or all, of those posts from time to time. Look for Olson Family AdVENTures. So many things to write about and so little time!
